The DriZzleR with a waterjacket

It seems that by the Flaming pyrolyses, unlike nozle based systems, the pre-heating of the incoming air is not much beneficial, or better said the radiating heat from the flames does not alter much by isolation of the firetube. This made me do a little experiment to make  a DriZzleR with a waterjacket. The benifits are treefold. First one  canrecover some of the excess heat, second one can use less temperature resistant gascets for sealing the lid, and third one can lower at the place where the gas is produced theoverall gas  temperature.
In my case the drop of gastemperature was substantial. From 580 celcius down to 295 degrees celcius


Appart from this there is another important benefit. Those who are curently running a cheap chinese honda clone generator, do not have to shop for an expensive and much too big for your needs, watercooled engine. No fuss with heat-exhangers and condensors. Just add a waterstorage tank and a small waterpump and make your mountain cabin (inclusive jaccuzi) complete selfsuporting.

The DriZzleR with water jacket produced non stop warm water of 45 degrees celcius at a speed of 5 litres per minute. The with pellets. With chips the temperature does not reach more than 32 degrees celcius. The gas quality as observed only by the flare, did not seemed to difer from a Dry of a Wet DriZzleR. Unfortunatly I had no temperature probes at hand to measure real values.

Gestern ne test gemacht mit "Der DriZzleR" mit wassermantel. Auf erste sicht hat das kühlende wasser beim DriZzleR wenig effekt auf die Gasqualitat. Natürlich nur an die flamme der fackel gesehen, weil leider hatte ich keine temperatur proben gemacht, mit ein nassen und ein trockenem "DriZzleR"

Vorteile sind dreifach. Erst kann man die überschuss hitze rekuperieren direkt dort wo Sie gemacht wird. Zweitens kann man auf hoch temperatur dichtungen verzichten und der einfachigen schnappring von ein industriellen drum zu luftdicht machen verwenden. und drittens kühlt schon das produzierte gas eine ganze menge runter direkt in vergaser. Von 650 nach 295 Celsius. Vorteile gibts, nun nochmal den test wieder machen mit temperatur fühlern.

Auser diesen vorteile gibt auch nog einen wichtigen. Fur denen die jetz shon ein kleinen luftgekuhlte billigen chinesischen honda clone generator betrieben, mussen jetz nicht mehr auf die suche nach einen teueren oder viel zu grosen wassergekuhlten motor. Auch keine sorgen mit heiztauchern und concensoren. nur ein bufferfass und eine kleine umwaslpumpe, und der datcha, inclusive Jaccuzzi, ist volle selbstversorgend mit deines kleinen blokheisskraftwerk.

Der DriZzleR mit wassermantel, hat dauernd 5 liter wassser produziert (300 liter in die stunde) von 45 grad celcius. Anfangtemperatur des wassers 7 grad. inhalt wassermantel 60 liter.
Wahrscheinlich ist die rentabilität noch zu verbessern wenn ich die tonne bis oben fülle (oben heisse teil) aber ich hatte einen luft expansionsraum vorgesehen wegen ausdehnung des warmen wassers.
