It all started on 15 mai 2013, with a discusion on the famous German "Holz gibt Gas" about grate design and how to overcome the problem of the grate of a gasifier getting blocked by packed charcoal dust, dirt and other elements that prevent a gasifier from breathing normaly.<br />

An other member of the "HgG" forum, Bulldoc actualy had build a such a grate system but, at least to my knowledge never tested it in practise.<br />

Looking however allways to eliminate elements and in constant fear for overengeneering, we tried first a grateless design that would had no mechanical turning pats and that would work purely on suction. First came this;<br />

Merely just one elbow and a reduction element that widened at exit. The so called stone slide. The Gasifier drum was half filled with fresh charcoal in wich the DriZzler tube was imersed. Further a level sensor and also inside the bucket was the cyclone. This design relied solemly on replenishment of the original charcoal by new gassed out coaled large woodchips. If too much charcoal would enter then the level sensor would trigger a mechanism to evacuate the exces coal out of the Drum.<br />
It was thought that the finest charcoal dust would go in suspension with the gasstream and the heavier elements such as stones and nails would sunc to the bottem wher they landed in a dirt-pit.<br />
The gasifier was put on a maraton test to see if the idea would work. The suspension of the fine dust worked well but to our great surprice the available charcoal could not been kept on level. More was consumed than could be produced, After 24 hours the charcoal was all gone and the gasifier went out.<br />

Conclusion was made quick. We must find a way to hold the charcoal in a steady way. An in between idea, a turning grate was never tested.<br />

In the mean time spacepater, an active member of our DriZzleR Forum also started experiments wit grateless design bringing into my mind back the old year 2013 idea and a new improved gasifier with a very condensed feeding mechanism (not a auger more a vice because of the flights beeing very close to each other) was build.<br />

A test turned out not very succesfull. The vice had much play inside the reduction tube and the pull by the blower sucked the vice empty soon. A new one whit a vice closer matching the reduction tube and with a large dropbox-gasexpansion tower was preforming very well. It had a so called stone transporter The vice and a charcoal holder.<br />
Stones went in the dirt-pit, charcoal in a charcoal container where eventualy by suficient amout it could be lighted and renter the gasstream untill copletely consumed. This coproduction woodgas and charcoalgas machine was not tested in this form. We only tested the woodgas version,<br />
The dirt pit however was very small and did not allowed longer runs than 4 hours before it had to be emptied.<br />

Drawing of the improved on with return charcoal transport and charcoal holder/afterburner. Was tested only in woodgas version.<br />
Being pleased with the results finaly version 3 came to be tested and was merely build around the same princeipe of the V2 but designed for longer runs. It is the latter that can be seen in this video.<br />

This text is written on demand of many people to asked about how the interior of the Grateless looked like. As we never want to show untested and unfunctional devices it took a little while before we could forfill the demand. This V3 is performing good enough to show. However we discoverd some things that can be improved and that is what we are going to do. So saty tuned the V3 is not the last grateless we will build.<br />

<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Ein Holzvergaser so einfach und sicher wie ein Ölheizung oder ein Gaskessel. Dabei aber umweltbewusst und CO<sub>2</sub>-neutral. Davon
träumen viele, allerdings ist dieses Ziel nicht immer ganz so einfach zu
erreichen. Die meisten denken bei Holzvergasern an neue Feststoff Brennkessel,
da dort der Name ebenfalls Verwendung findet. In diesem Kessel wird das Holz
nicht einfach nur "verbrannt" sondern es wird vergast. Das Garantiert
eine sauberere Verbrennung und die Effizienz wird gesteigert. Wir gehen einen
anderen Weg und nutzen dieses Gas nicht nur einfach zur Verbrennung in einem
Kessel sondern lassen einen Verbrennungsmotor mit diesem Gas Strom erzeugen.
Strom aus Holz ??? Ja! genau. Bisher waren Holzverstromungsanlagen teuer, der
Betrieb war aufwendig und eine Nutzung unterhalb von 10kW elektrisch nicht
rentabel. Die neue Holzvergasungstechnologie des "DriZzleR Gasifier"
oder auch der "DriZzleR Holzvergaser" macht es möglich. Hackschnitzel
oder Pellets werden "direkt eingeleitet". Vergleichbar mit dem
Einspritzsystem in Ihrem PKW. Immer nur soviel Brennstoff wird zugeführt wie
gerade auch benötigt wird. Das macht den Betrieb wirtschaftlich und profitabel.
Die Leistung ist modulierbar. Je nach Anwendungsgebiet lässt sich das BHKW und
auch der DriZzleR Holzvergaser an Ihre Gegebenheiten anpassen. Mit nur 900
Gramm Pellets lässt sich eine Leistung von 1 kW elektrisch und bis zu 3 kW
thermisch erzeugen. </span></div>

<span style="color: blue;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">The DriZzleR gasifier was able to prove his concept in hundred hours of operation.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">The manual drizzle mode has been changed a long time ago to automatic operation.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">The fuel supply was realized by an auger. The regulation of the flaming pyrolysis been done by the "Pyrotouch". The grate shaking "cleaned" by pressure changes in the gasifier automatically.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">We might therefore assume that the development is now complete. The gasifier runs completely automatically. Trouble-free and is very easy to maintain by the simple design.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">However all "Downdraft" gasifiers had sometimes problems with grate. In my eyes, the grate is the most important component inside a gasifier. If the grate is designed "to open" a lot of fuel will be wasted. If the grate is too fine it must often cleaned off, to prevent blockings. Frequent cleaning of the grate produces tar components which must be deposited in the filter. Also, any changing of the gasification process is counterproductive. The temperature in the gasifier starts to oscillate and thus the gas quality drops up and down. When using DIN pellets you have a fuel such as premium gasoline. Standardized, absolutely free of metal parts, stones or lumps of clay. However pellets tend, with the finest ingredients contained, to clog the grate by a fine carbon layer. Then there is a kind of "carpet" on the grate and blocks it. With wood chips, there is a similar problem. In addition to the fines in the form of wooden needles leaves or wood bark. Additionally, there are various items in the wood chips. Wood chips are often stored in agricultural holdings somewhere where impurities are on the agenda. These components later lay in the gasifier. There the lay on the grate and block it. Even the cleaning of the grate has stopped working sometime and you have to clean the gasifier manually by hand.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">This problem is often compensated by a "special" grid construction. A "opened" grate then ensures that stones and nails can also fall out from the grate. Charcoal should be remain in the gasifier until the last useful ingredient are used. The remains unusable for gasification are deposited then in the cyclone and later deposited in the fine filter.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Another major problem is the grate temperature. I've gotten quite a few already melted metals grates. Also V2A or V4A make problems at high temperatures. This heat problems can be naturally eliminate with steels for "refractory". But prices for steel of this quality are not cheap. Very high temperatures just during the gasification of charcoal. Why is a blacksmith working on a charcoal fire? :-)</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Just the open design has helped the DriZzleR Gasifier to success. Simple in design and probably one of the easiest gasifiers to build without welding equipment or special skills in metalworking. There are DriZzleR gasifiers built only with a drill and tools that can be found in every household. Anyone can build it. Or can take it to and metal-working shop to build a DriZzleR with different materials in a short time.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">In some countries opentop gasifiers are banned because of fire hazard. To understand laws and to test for meaningfulness I will leave to other people. Often some people feel fear running an open gasifier.It may come at an detonation to backfiring. I myself have never experienced with a DriZzleR gasifier had made any flashbacks. And I know this kind of flashback from my time with the Imbert clone gasifier. In my opinion, a closed gasifier is much more dangerous.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Now how can we fix the problem with the grate and also the "in some countries legally questionable OpenTop Design" without losing the benefits of the DriZzleR Gasifier?</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">The upside / down DriZzleR gasifier operates on the same principle. Of course with plenty a lot of air, a constant "flaming pyrolysis" and the fuel supply as needed, just as much as just absolutely needed to stay the gasification process running.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Just turn the DriZzleR upside/down ;-)</span><br /></span><span style="color: blue;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Also the security attention was paid. The only exception of the "fluidized bed gasifier" styles are 2 homemade gasifier i know. One of Mr. Pertl and one of Holzigas. This type of gasifier has not a traditional grate design. There is no grate of metal melting away under the heat or could be destroyed. The residual charcoal in the gasifier forms a three-dimensional grate. The vacuum in the system removes the fine pulverized coal deposited with the gas stream from the gasifier. Waste materials such as stones or lumps of clay nails apart and try to hinder the gasification process can not be measured. The gasification takes place completely. "Downdraft" Vergasern irgendwann Probleme mit dem Rost. In
meinen Augen ist der Rost die wichtigste Komponente in einem
Vergaser. Ist der Rost zu grob gewählt wird jede Menge Brennstoff
verschwendet. Wird der Rost zu fein gewählt muss er häufiger ab
gereinigt werden, um sich nicht zuzusetzen. Häufiges Abreinigen des
Rostes erzeugt Teer Bestandteile die dann im Filter aufwendig
abgeschieden werden müssen. Auch ist jede Störung des
Vergasungsprozesses kontraproduktiv. Die Temperatur im Vergaser
beginnt zu schwanken und damit auch die Gasqualität. Bei Benutzung
von DIN Pellets hat man einen Kraftstoff wie Super Benzin. Genormt,
absolut frei von Metallteilen, Steinen oder Tonklumpen. Allerdings
neigen Pellets dazu, mit den enthaltenen feinst Bestandteilen, den
Rost durch eine fein Kohleschicht zu verstopfen. Dann liegt eine Art
„Teppich“ auf dem Rost und setzt ihn zu. Bei Hackschnitzeln
besteht ein ähnliches Problem. Neben den Feinanteilen in Form von
Nadel, Blättern oder Rindenanteilen. Zusätzlich befinden sich noch
diverse Verunreinigungen in den Hackschnitzeln. Hackschnitzel werden
häufig in Landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben irgendwo gelagert wo
Verunreinigungen an der Tagesordnung sind. Diese Bestandteile
befinden sich dann später natürlich auch im Vergaser. Dort setzten,
diese den Rost zu und blockieren Ihn. Selbst die Abreinigung des
Rostes funktioniert irgendwann nicht mehr und man muss den Vergaser
Stoppen und den Rost manuell von Hand reinigen.

Meinung nach, bis zum letzten nutzbaren Bestandteil im Vergaser
verbleiben. Die nicht nutzbaren Überreste für die Vergasung, werden
dann im Zyklon und später im Feinfilter abgeschieden.

natürlich mit „hitzefesten“ Stählen beseitigen. Aber die Preise
für Stahl dieser Güte sind nicht gerade günstig. Gerade bei der
Vergasung von Kohle treten sehr hohe Temperaturen auf. Warum wird

des Rückbrandes in die Förderschnecke ist gesorgt. Sobald die

es eigentlich nur eine Möglichkeit um die Anforderungen eines
Dauerrostes zu ermöglichen. Es handelt sich um das Modell des
"Fluidized bed gasifier" Vergasers. Dieser Vergasertyp wird
normalerweise nur bei Vergasers oberhalb der 500KW Klasse angewendet. Kleinere
"Fluidized bed gasifier" gibt es wenige. Einzige Aunahme
des </span><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">"Fluidized bed gasifier" Designs</span> bilden 2 Eigenbau Vergaser. Einen von Herrn Pertl und
einen von Holzigas. Dieser Vergasertyp besitzt kein herkömmliches
Rostdesign. Es besteht kein Rost aus Metall der unter der Hitze
schmilz oder zerstört werde könnte. Die Restkohle im Vergaser
bildet einen dreidimensionalen Rost. Durch den Unterdruck im System
kommt es zu keinerlei Verdichtungen und es wird nur feiner
Kohlenstaub mit dem Gas aus dem Vergaser abgeschieden. Reststoffe wie
Nägel Steine oder Tonklumpen fallen zur Seite und behindern den

der komplette Reststoff (Kohlestaub) mit dem Gas ausgetragen.
Ungefiltert „flitzten“ dann tausende von Kohlenstaub Partikeln
mit dem Gas aus dem Vergaser. Wenn man das Gas ungefiltert
„abfackelt“ kann man dieses Kohlenstaub „Feuerwerk“ sehr gut
erkennen. Der Kohlenstaub muss für den Motorbetrieb (EGG – Engine
Grade Gas) ausgefiltert werden, bei der Nutzung zum Heizen (HGG –
Heating Grade Gas) bietet bringt er potenteres Gas. Ein Ausfiltern
des Kohlenstaubs ist nur für EGG Zwecke notwendig. Ein Zyklon
Abscheider sorgt beim EGG Betrieb später dafür diesen Kohlenstaub
als erst Filterstufe vom Gas zu trennen. In der 2. Filterstufe muss
ein Feinfilter die letzten feineren Bestandteile entfernen. </span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Normalerweise hat dieser Vergasertyp einen eher schlechten Ruf. So dass man in der Literatur davon ausgeht, dass diese Vergaser weniger Teer als ein "Updraft" Vergaser produzieren. Aber auch mehr Teer als die normalen "Downdraft" Vergaser. Das muss allerdings erst bewiesen werden. FAO schreibt über die Vergasertyp folgendes:</span><br />

erfolgversprechend, Der Vergaser schleuderte Teer bis unter die Decke
und ringsherum um den Vergaser sah es aus als ob jemand dem Boden
schlecht geteert hatte. Aber so ist das eigentlich bei jedem Versuch
am Anfang klappt fast nix. Zweifler am System würden jetzt wahrscheinlich denken "Siehst du hat doch bereits die Literatur gesagt". ;-)</span><br />

vielversprechender. Die Flammen war zwar immer noch nicht wirklich
„schön“ aber außer Kohlenstaub kamen keine anderen

In the series of youtube video's on "the simple learning DriZzleR" I added a new one. (part 3). This learning DriZzleR can also serve as a very simple and quick to build gasifier for emergency situations, or for use in small third world community's,<br />
As an experiment I wanted to test if it was possible to fire it up and flare it when absolutely no energy was available. I used bicicle. (pedal powered gasifier).The test however did not showed much succes. Not so much because, it would be principly imposible to start the mini DrizzleR up on pedal power, but because the mechanical components where badly made.<br />
As you know I have to give out all my mechanic work to a local blackschmitt and this time he realy did a shitty job.<br />
Anyway i hope someone picks up the idea and shows a better performance someday.<br />

Spacepeter hat einige Versuche mit Perlit und Zement gemacht. Bei einem Mischungsverhältnis von 50%/50%. Das Video ist sehr spektakulär und ist denke ich eine der viel versprechensten Isolierungsschichten für die Holzvergasung. Spacepeter hat in seinem DriZzleR sehr hohe Temperaturen die oft das Metall an Ihre Grenzen treiben. Wir sind gespannt wie sich eine Röhre aus diesem Material zur Vergasung eignet.<br />

Sorting chips is time consuming and thus costly. So why should we do it. Well hereunder in this video is the answer. If you sort, then you eliminate the smaller particles such as, little stones, sawdust, bark, from the wood. Your net amount of pure wood increases. Also on fines the gasifier is running much hotter wich makes the ashes melt and form clinker. </div>

But indeed it is a pity that one has to sort. If you think that by sorting you get two and a half bags of fines by only one bag of sorted chips. that is a lot of waisting gasable material.</div>

Hackschnitzel sortieren kosted zeit und damit auch geld. Also warum es tun? Hieroben in der video sehen Sie dass antwort. Wan mann sortiert eleminiert mann kleine verunreinigkeiten wie, kleine steinen, sagemehl, baumschorsz. Wann mann sortiert erhoght mann sein anteil an reines holz. An die kleine halbholzteilchen lauft der vergaser viel heisser, und dann smilzt die ashe und formt sich klinker.<br />
Aber naturlich ist es shade dass mann sortieren muss. Beim sortieren zum beispiel habe ich nur ein sack gutes holz und zwei en half sacke verlohrenes material.<br />
Dies war aber nur der erste test, vielleicht mit eine kalteren laufende reductionsrohre kann ich shon dass problem von klinkeren grosenteils vermeiden, dann kann mann diese kleine abfall doch verwenden, weil vergasern lasst es sich recht gut.<br />

Heute hatte ich ein übles Problem mit meinem Wasserbett. Eine von den beiden Matratzen war undicht. Also raus damit und eine neue Matratze wurde eingebaut. Die alte Matratze wurde komplett entleert. Als ich mich auf die Suche nach dem Loch machen wollte pustete ich die Matratze mit dem Kompressor auf. Ich füllte 5 Minuten mit meinem Kompressor Luft in die Matratze. Mein Kompressor hat eine Leistung von 215l Luft pro Minute. Dabei kam mir die Idee. Was wäre wenn ich nun Holzgas in solch einer Matratze speichern würde ?<br />

Der Test wird es zeigen. Ich werde die Matratze komplett mit Holzgas füllen. Und meinen Honda Generator anschliessen. Mal sehen wie lange er mit einer Füllung läuft. I corrected those false information with a video. In the origiginal video I named a horse a horse and a man a man. On demand of the forum administrator I removed that previous video hoping the forum would also be so fair to remove the untrue post. They did not until now so I remained defenseless. Therefor I am forced to show the corrections again, however censored and edited in order to hurt nobody's feelings.<br />

In einen des grossen Amerikanischen holzgas forum, hatt ein "Gentleman" einige unwahrheiten geposted uber der DriZzleR. In obenstehende video korrigiere ich ein nach einancer diese falsche auserungen. Dass unverstehnbahres ist dass der mann behaupted er hatt sogar 2 DrizzleR"s gebaut. Beide haben nur etwas funktioniert mit pellets, haben aber schwere mdue gehabt um einen dauerenden fakkel zu geben und dabei rauchten die unaushaltbahr. Beim abschalten kam es dabei auch zu sehr gefahrliche situationen. Ich konnte dass nicht ohne antwort lassen und welche methode war besser als in einen video al diese falsche behaupungen visuel zu beneinen. In ein ersten video hatte ich nahmen genennt. Auf frage von der moderator von dass forum habe ich dann der video bezeitigt mit die hoffnung dass die dann auch der falschen post wegmachen sollten. Dies ist aber nicht geschen und darum habe ich der video wieder publiciert aber jetz mit censur.<br />

Or need strong gear motors to resolve the deadlocks. There is an easier way. If you sorted the chips can be wood chips also work well in a simple cheap auger normally built for transporting pellets.<br /><br />The chips having to be relatively homogeneous and not exceed a maximum length of 4.5 cm. Then even the transport in the horizontal position is working properly. However, if you can carry this auger up it can lead to deadlocks, because simply much more force is required, to transport the chips uphill. Do you need something more capacity you can simply lift the auger on the input side, now the Chips are going downhill. Then the chips slip through the auger almost by itself.<br /><br />The engine has an output of only 180 watts and manages the presorted wood chips, which are sorted by Luk's potato sorting machine, perfect to drizzel.</span><br />

Hackschnitzelschnecken sind nix neues, aber die meistens Schnecken neigen zum verklemmen. Oder benötigen starke Getriebemotoren um die Verklemmungen zu lösen. Es geht auch einfacher. Wenn man die Schnitzel vor sortiert lassen sich Hackschnitzel auch wunderbar in einer einfachen billigen Schnecke die normalerweise für Pellets gebaut wird transportieren. <br />
<br />
Die Schnitzel müssen dafür relativ homogen sein und eine Länge von maximal 4,5cm nicht überschreiten. Dann funktioniert auch der Transport in der waagerechten Position einwandfrei. Wenn man allerdings diese Schnecke nach oben transportieren lässt (Bergauf-Förderung) kann es zu Verklemmungen kommen, da dann einfach viel mehr Kraft benötigt wird. Benötigt man etwas mehr Förderleistung kann man einfach die Schnecke auf Ausnahmeseite anheben (Bergab-Förderung). Dann rutschen die Schnitzel durch die Schnecke fast wie von selbst.<br />
<br />
Der Motor hat eine Leistung von nur 180 Watt und schafft es die vor sortierten Schnitzel, die mit Luk´s Kartoffelsortiermaschine sortiert hat, perfekt zu drizzeln.<br />

If you want to run your gasifier dayly for some hours, you will need plenty of feedstock. If you want to feed your DriZzleR by the means of a simple feeder (Standard cor auger F.I.) with a rather small motor and without fancy's as a cutting rotary valve, then you must sort your chips, to get a more or less standard fuel.<br />
Doing this manualy, is then not any more possible. A drum sorter comes in mind but I found this old potato sorter and with little adaption it is working remarkebly well. Here is a video if you want to see it running.<br />

Wann mann sein vergaser stunden laufen lasst braucht mann viel holzschnitzel. Um die hackschnitsel auch nog transportieren zu konnen in einen einfachen gebaute schnecke, muss mann die hackschnitzel eigentlich sortieren damit die mehr oder weniger gleiche form haben und die unter und ubermassen aussortiert sein.<br />
Manuel ist dass bei grossere mengen nicht mochlich. Vielen verwenden ein drum sortierer. Ich habe diese alten kartoflensortierer gefnden und mit wenige eingriffe functioniert dass schnitzel sortieren damit recht gut.<br />

My first gasifeir project, Pascal's third, started with the goal to come
to an automatic working gasifier that could meet the energy and heating needs of
a complete autark home. For that purpose the build machine should be able to run
24 hours a day, seven on seven. The wish to Feed that gasifier with a simple
feeder in a simple manor, not using sluises nor rotary valves, eliminated the
Imbert's style types and made it a must to improve the open top gasifiers in
such a way that our open top, unlike the previous open top's, known as tar
makers, would be able to produce engine grade woodgas easy and comfortable.

<b>The DriZzleR and the limits of that design.</b></div>

With creative thinking good observation and a bit of luck a new type of
gasifier was invented, equiped with a load depended level sensor, feeded in drip
feed mode, "The DriZzleR" </div>

Repeated operation, by different operators with independend builds, prooved
that "The DriZzleR" is one of the very few, if not the only open top gasifier,
that is able to produce engine grade gas without a much exstensive or poluting
(scrubber) gas cleaning train behind it.</div>
<div>
After a lot of testing, Pascal and I, are now able to produce with the
DriZzleR and a VW 1.6l car engine, on pellets, 14 hours combined electricity and
heating, and some 4 hours the same on woodchips. That is not bad and many would
be happy with this results, but it is far from the goal we've set.</div>
<div>
With a turning-grate, set on time interval, or presure drop sensing, the
working time could be easy expanded, but that would be at the cost of, waisting
a lot of valuable, not completely gassed out, charcoal.</div>
<div>
On woodchips: even a turning grate would not be enough to run continously.
Why? As I stated almost a year ago on this forum, minimum a grate sraper is
needed too, to cope with the impurety's that are sneaking in with the chips.

Pascal and I Tested the past year almost dayly different fuels, delivered
from various sources; The conclusion is that woodchips, having too many dirt in
them, (stones, nails, bit of glass and ceramic and klinker), making it
impossible to run the gasifier in a simple way continiously, unattented. A
simple grate finger and a simple turning grate can not coop with a big nail that
falls in the grate verticaly. More sofisticated and expensive automatic grate
cleaning devises are needed. </div>

<b>The upsite down DriZzleR, grateless.</b></div>

Trying to simplifice such complicated grates is one way to go. Going
grateless is the other. </div>

A good way to design a grateless gasifier is to turn the DriZzleR upside
down. Have the open top as open bottom. Making the drip feed into a push feed.
Fload the flaming pyrolyse zone with forced air.</div>

<b>Is a grateless non reduction gasifier revolutionary or something
new?</b></div>
<div>
Some of good people on the German Holz Gibt Gas forum are running
already several years with good succes grateless and reductionless gasifiers.
One of them is an gentleman named Pertl wich based his build on numerous
patents, some already almost hundred years old. Grateless designs are nothing
new, nor revolutionary, nor secret, lots of patents information.</div>

Pertl produced with his grateless and reductionless design, from the begin
of his build up to 8.2.2009 (after that he did not kept trac) 240.000 Kw warm
water and 132.000 Kw electricity. </div>
<div>
Another hard working succesfull gasser is, Holzigas, with the same VW 1.6L car engine as Pascal uses,
He heats and energise his home already several thousend of hours, this from 2009
on; He has to replace his second hand VW engines regulary. (No sweat because in
German they are death cheap. 50 to 100 euro's.</div>

Seeing the concept could maybe solve the grate connected problems, we are tempted to explore
also the posibility's of an upside down DriZzleR for continious operation.</div>

<b>What with the standard DriZzleR?.</b></div>
<div>
Does that means we give up the regular DriZzleR. No way. This concept is so
technicaly simple and elegant. It can be build by anybody without much pain. If
you run it in intervals, some hours, then little cleaning, then some hours
again, Just as most imbert types are run, it will produce the same good gas an
easier way. </div>

The DriZzleR will be further developed, It has a small but steady growing
user comunity and news on it will be posted regualry. Side on side with the
other new gasifier project The upside down DriZzleR.</div>
